Subscription and billing

Trials, plans, invoices, changing your plan and cancelling.

The trial

A new account gets 14 days of the Complete plan, starting when the email address is confirmed and with no payment method required. While it lasts you have the same access a subscriber has. When it ends the account moves to the free plan: your scores are not deleted, you keep up to 3 of them, you can still annotate and open everything, and what you lose is unlimited scores, multi-page PDF and SVG export, share links and the Note Tracer.

Subscribing

The pricing page shows every plan with its price and billing interval. Payment is handled by Stripe; Annotune never sees your card number. Before you pay, the checkout page shows the total and asks you to confirm that you want access to start immediately.

That confirmation matters legally: because access starts at once, your statutory right of withdrawal ends when the service has been supplied in full. The Right of Withdrawal page sets out the details, and the declaration you give is stored with its date and the wording you were shown.

Managing your subscription

Billing shows your current plan, when it renews, and your payment history. From there you can open the Stripe billing portal to change your payment method or download an invoice.

Changing plans

Switching between monthly and yearly is done from the pricing page or the billing portal. Stripe prorates the change, so you pay only the difference for the remainder of the period.

Cancelling

Cancel from Billing. The subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and the billing page shows that date. Until then nothing changes; afterwards your account reverts to the free state and your scores remain in your library.

A cancellation can be undone from the same page for as long as the paid period is still running.

If a payment fails

Stripe retries a failed payment for a while and emails you. Access continues during those retries. Update your card in the billing portal to resolve it. If the retries are exhausted, the subscription ends and the paid areas ask you to subscribe again.
