Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Annotune. The service provider is identified in the legal notice (Impressum). Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
1. Account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. Accounts are for persons aged 18 or older. New accounts may receive the trial displayed during registration; no payment method is required for that trial.
2. Permitted use
Do not use the service unlawfully, interfere with its operation, or upload content you are not entitled to use. You remain responsible for files and links you share.
3. Subscriptions and payment
The price, billing interval, included functions and total due are shown before purchase. Stripe processes payments. Paid subscriptions renew for the displayed billing interval until canceled. You can schedule cancellation in billing settings; paid access normally continues until the end of the current paid period.
4. Your content
You retain rights in files you upload. You grant us only the rights needed to store, process, render, export and, when you request it, share that content while providing the service.
5. Availability and changes
We work to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. Material changes to paid functionality will not limit mandatory statutory rights.
6. Account termination
You may delete your account in settings. We may restrict accounts that seriously violate these terms or applicable law. Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy and may be retained where law requires it.
7. Liability and consumer rights
Liability is governed by applicable German law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or warranty rights where exclusion is not legally permitted. Statutory withdrawal rights, where applicable, remain unaffected.
8. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. The full instructions and the model withdrawal form are published on the Right of Withdrawal page. Because access is granted immediately, we ask you at checkout to expressly request immediate performance and to acknowledge that the right of withdrawal ends once the service has been supplied in full; we store that declaration with its date.
9. Consumer dispute resolution
We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle) unless a statutory obligation applies. The European Commission has discontinued its online dispute resolution platform, so no link is provided.
10. Referral rewards
You may invite others with your personal referral link. A referral counts only when the invited person creates a new Annotune account through that link and confirms their email address; existing accounts, accounts you control yourself, and accounts created to obtain rewards do not count. Every 3 successful referrals add 1 month of Complete to your account, up to 12 rewards in total. Rewards are granted once each, are added to the end of the access you already have, cannot be exchanged for money and are not transferable. Rewards do not change, pause or refund a paid subscription; if you are paying for Complete your billing continues unaffected. We may withhold or withdraw rewards, and close accounts, where we find abuse of this programme, and we may change or end it at any time with effect for referrals made after the change.
11. Governing law
German law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country in which a consumer habitually resides.
