Terms of Service (Nutzungsbedingungen)

1. Account Terms

Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Accuracy: You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure.

Trial Period: New users receive a 7-day free trial with no payment information required.

2. Acceptable Use

Prohibited: Illegal activities, spamming, or any activity that disrupts our platform are strictly prohibited.

You may not upload or share any content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

Our platform operates on a subscription basis. Payments are securely processed via Stripe. By subscribing, you agree that recurring payments will be charged automatically at the beginning of each billing cycle until you cancel.

You can cancel your subscription anytime via your account settings.

4. Refunds

We offer a 14-day refund window for new subscriptions, provided that the digital service has not been fully rendered or significantly used during that period. After this time or once substantial use has occurred, no refunds can be issued.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the MusicXML and MXL files you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display the files for the purpose of providing the service.

Files can be shared via a private link. You are responsible for the visibility of shared files.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your settings. Upon deletion, your personal data and uploaded files will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. German Consumer Rights (Verbraucherrechte)

Widerrufsrecht: 14-day right of withdrawal for services not yet rendered (§ 355 BGB).

Warranty: 2-year Gewährleistung for digital products (§ 438 BGB).

Dispute Resolution: We participate in the EU online dispute resolution (OS-Plattform).

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The competent court is as stated in our Impressum.
